Meet Your Cider Guide
I’m Sean Connolly, Massachusetts and New England grown, and now a longtime Portland, Oregon, resident. I’m deeply passionate about cider: the craft, its history, makers, cideries, cider apples and orchards, regions, styles, and the inclusive industry culture and plethora of choices that I think make cider (and perry) America’s most storied and diverse styles of fermented beverages. I am a Certified Cider Guide, a member of the American Cider Association and the Northwest Cider Association, a one-time Brand Ambassador for Portland Cider Company, and a frequent event volunteer for CiderCon, Oregon-based cider festivals like the Hood River Cider Fest and Cider Rite of Spring, and a steward and judge for the Pacific NW Cider Cup. You can find my cider posts and reviews at @ciderexperience on Instagram and Facebook.
